As part of the Steiner education philosophy, we encourage the exploration of life in all its forms, and stone sculpting is a perfect opportunity to experience that. Sculpting offers a chance to feel the natural texture of stone, a grounding experience amidst the virtual overstimulation that often disconnects us from the real world. As you engage with the carving process, you’ll discover that the sounds, sensations, and physical effort create a deeply immersive sensory experience.
We are pleased to invite you to a special stone sculpting workshop with expert sculptors from Auroville, Pondicherry. This workshop is designed exclusively for you to learn the art of sculpting, chiselling, and polishing soft stone. All materials will be provided by the school.
Workshop Details:
- Dates: Friday, 14th November 2025 to Sunday, 16th November 2025
- Time: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon each day
- Fees: ₹ 5,500/- per person.
On 16th November, participants will have the opportunity to polish their creations. You are also welcome to join if you’d simply like to witness the polishing process and collect your sculpture afterwards.
